Linda Ann Smith, 71, of Acworth, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018.  Funeral services will be held at 9:00 Friday morning in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Sonja Horton officiating.  Burial will follow in Kennesaw Memorial Park.  Mrs. Smith was a native of Cobb County and had lived in Acworth for most of her life.  She was formerly employed as a cashier with Lanier Parking at Kennestone Hospital and was of the Baptist faith.  Surviving are her husband, Richard Smith of Acworth; sons, Trent Smith and Kent (Donna) Smith, both of Acworth; grandchildren, Xena Smith, David Smith, and Haley Smith; siblings, R. H. "Sonny" (Ann) Alley of Marietta, Peggy Jean Smelser of Acworth, and Nancy Ruth (Jerry) Arrendale of Cartersville; several nieces and nephews also survive.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 on Thursday evening at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
