Mrs. Linda Sue Callahan 68 of Acworth died Monday, June 30, 2025. Linda loved to paint, draw and was very talented when it came to writing poetry. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and repairing antique furniture. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Cordell; her parents, Robert and Lona Cordell; her grandparents, Ethel Cordell and Burl and Lenice Poteet. Linda is survived by her husband of 52 years, Miles Callahan; son, Shannon Callahan of Dallas, GA; sister, Ann Obregon and her husband Joe of Elijay, GA; brothers, Stanley Cordell of Greenwood, SC and Jerry Cordell; Niece, Crystal Resico of Greenwood, SC; Nephew, Stanley Cordell, Jr. of Greenwood, SC; 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with Tim Abbott officiating. Interment will follow in Rollings Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
