?Leo Ewing Opp, Sr. ?, 87, of Marietta, died Thursday, September 15, 2016 surrounded by his family.  A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 20 at 7pm in the chapel of Marietta Funeral Home.

A St. Louis native Mr. Opp retired as Design Engineer from Lockheed Martin after 28 years.   Leo and Bettie Opp loved to travel and visited all 50 states. Leo enjoyed outdoor sports, hunting, fishing, boating, camping, reading, traveling and spending time with his family.  He was a devoted Hubby, Dad, Papa and friend to all.

He is preceded in death by his late wife Bettie Jean Taylor Opp of 51 years, his daughter Beverly Opp Brackett and his son Leo E. Opp, Jr.  He is survived by his three daughters, Sherry Richardson, of Panama City, FL, Pam Moore, of Marietta, and Debi Opp, of Marietta; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
