Lena Mae Blalock, 91, of Acworth, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023.  Funeral services will be held, 1:00pm Saturday in the Acworth Grace Fellowship Church with Pastor John Paul Benning and the Rev. Clinton Fields officiating. Ms. Blalock will lie-in-state from 12:00-1:00pm prior to the service.  Burial will follow in the Rolling Hills Memory Gardens.  She was a woman of great faith, strong, friendly and she didn't meet a stranger.  Ms. Blalock loved her family and was known for making the best biscuits. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Fletcher Boyd Blalock; several sisters and 1 brother.

Ms. Blalock is survived by her sons, Hershel (Sara) Blalock, Jerry (Karen) Blalock, Steve (Janet) Blalock and Timmy (Michelle) Blalock; daughters; Velva (Dwayne) Lolley, Linda (Tony) Millwood, Kathy (David) Cooper and Connie (Steve) Matthews; 24 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Coker, Betty Shelley and Annette Dempsey; several nieces and nephews also survive.  The family will receive friends Friday evening July 28th from 5:00-8:00pm, Collins Funeral Home, 4947 North Main St., Acworth, GA 30101, 770-974-3133.
