Laura Mae Brown's Obituary
Laura Mae Brown, 86, of Marietta, died Saturday, May 14, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 Wednesday afternoon in the Chapel of Marietta Funeral Home. Mrs. Brown's children will officiate at the service. A native of Madison, Georgia, Mrs. Brown had lived in Marietta for most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Sherley Brown of Marietta; children, Rodney (Janice) Brown of Woodstock, Donald (Brenda) Brown of Hiram, Linda Black of Kennesaw, and Robert (Carol) Brown of Mechanicsville, VA; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother, Robert Eubanks, Jr. of Marietta; sister, Mildred Massengale of Fayetteville; several nieces and nephews also survive. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org/ga. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the memorial service at Marietta Funeral Home 915 Piedmont Rd. Marietta, GA 30066 770-422-1234.
