Larry D. "Papa" Reaid, 69, of Acworth, died Wednesday, October 17, 2018.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Saturday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Green and the Rev. Wayne Wright officiating.  Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  Larry was born in Marietta and had lived in the Acworth/Kennesaw area all of his life.  He was employed with Curtis Mathis and Farmers Furniture before his retirement and was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.  Surviving are his wife, Joyce Reaid of Acworth; children, Jeff (Amy) Reaid of Dallas, Adrian (Katie) Reaid of Dallas, and Estelena (Jack) Gooden of Belle Chasse, LA; parents, Herschel and Sammie Reaid of Acworth; grandchildren, Kaylie, Angelina, Jarrett, Briana, Abigail, Zoey, and Lily; brothers, Michael (Beverly) Reaid and Tony (Karen) Reaid, both of Acworth; several nieces and nephews also survive.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 on Friday evening at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
