Laburn Duarl "Tobe" Kennedy, 82, of Acworth, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022.  Funeral Services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, December 13, 2022 in the Cedarcrest Church in Acworth.  Tobe will lie-in-state from 11:00am-1:00pm in the church.  Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday evening 5:00pm-8:00pm, Collins Funeral Home, 4947 N. Tobe is preceded in death by 1st wife, Mary Ethel McClure Kennedy; parents, Laburn Ardell and Mary Lee Kennedy; brother, Jimmy Kennedy; sisters, Hazel Collins and Rosie Johnston and step son, Brian Smith.  He is survived by his wife, Carole M. Kennedy of Acworth; son Warren Lee (Laura) Kennedy of Cartersville; granddaughter, Chrissy Nikole Kennedy (David) Wright; grandsons, Chris (Sarah) Kennedy, Will (Catherine) Hicks; siblings, Doris Truitt (Lamon) Smith, Jr (Lynn) Kennedy, Annette Wigley; Carolyn (Kenny) Gasaway, Ronnie Kennedy, Nancy (Tony) Hughes; step-children, Scott (Lisa) Kays, David (Tammi) Clark, Denyse (Jerome) McClure, Dennis Smith, Roger Steve (Marclle) Smith; 6 great grand children and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
