Obituary

Kimberly Dawn Blake, 58, of Armuchee, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, October 3, 2024.  She was born in Marietta, GA on March 18, 1966.  Kimberly graduated from North Cobb High School in 1984, where she played the flute in the band.  She worked for many years at the NAPA Corporate Headquarters in Smyrna GA.

After a time with liver disease, she was fortunate to receive a liver transplant in 2014 from a special unknown donor.  This gave her 10 more years of time, joy and love with her family.

Kimberly's mother, Mrs. Wydeene, was her bestie and they were able to spend a wonderful time together shopping and enjoying each other's company.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking and reading but most of all loved spending time with the children in her family.  Kimberly also had a great love for her cat Nelson and her dog Brianna.  On top of her gifts, she was an outstanding care giver to her parents/family.

She was preceded in death by, her father, Reynold Blake; grandparents, Norman and Velma McKinney, Bud and Mae Blake; uncle, Jerry Cunningham.

Kimberly is survived by, her mother, Wydeene (stepfather Roy) Webb of Armuchee; brothers, Kenny (Pam) Blake and Winston Blake both of Acworth; sister, Kim (Bill) Riley of Mobile AL; cousins, Linda McKinney of Rome, John (Katie) Cunningham of Newnan; nephews Lawson Blake of Savannah, Mason McConville of New York, Austin McKinney of Calhoun; nieces, Alissa Blake of Acworth, Rae (Decatur) Lazenby of Mobile; great nephews, Makers Lazenby and Townes Lazenby both of Mobile; aunt Janice Cunningham of Newnan; several aunts, uncles, 2nd and 3rd cousins also servive.
