Kim Astor Dalrymple, 58, of Acworth, Georgia passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

Kim was born on March 22, 1966 at Kennestone Hospital to Thomas and Caroll Dalrymple. He graduated in 1984 from North Cobb High School and would later attend Atlanta Area Technical College to obtain a degree in aviation maintenance technology. He truly had a great passion for aviation, which would lead him to work for companies such as Delta Airlines and Epps Aviation. He was highly intelligent in mechanics and his family recalls that there was never something he could not fix. He enjoyed hobbies including hunting and fishing, which he shared with his children. His children were his greatest joy of all and he would have stopped at nothing to support them. Kim was known by all to have a big heart, but his family will continue to carry his heart with them in spirit.

Kim is survived by his son, Christopher Lee Dalrymple; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Dalrymple; grandson, Grady Clyde Duncan; father, Thomas Ray Dalrymple; sisters, Nona (Mike) Harris and Dana (Justin) Willingham; as well as seven nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Caroll Watkins Dalrymple. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, June 25th from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service at Collins Funeral Home (4947 N Main Street, Acworth, GA 30101). The service will begin immediately following the visitation at 2:00 PM.
