Kie Carter, age 77, passed away on March 19, 2023. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Paulding Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dennis Bellamy officiating.

Mr. Carter was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He loved music, food and long drives. But there was nothing in the world he loved more than his family.

Mr. Carter was preceded in death by his loving wife, Derah Carter. He is survived by his son, Avery V. Carter of Greenville, SC; daughter, Merrinda C. Long of Atlanta; sister, Nancy Whitaker, of Austell; granddaughter, Danielle Ridings; great grandchildren, Dallas Dark Porter, and Aiden Kade Porter.
