Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Kenneth R. Brownfield announces his passing on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at 66 years of age.  He was born in El Paso, Texas, and was preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Roy Brownfield and his brother, David.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine Brownfield, daughter Candy Hunter, son Brian, daughter-in-law, Jenni, son Chris, daughter-in-law, Jennifer; grandchildren, Jordan Pinner (Brianna), Justin, Alysse, Austin, Lacey and Sky; great-grandchildren, Audrey and Ashton Pinner; sister-in-law, Peggy Nelson; niece, Molly Davis (John) and nephew, Tommy Brownfield (Bridget); as well as many cousins; and many, many lifelong friends that he loved as family.

Kenneth grew up in El Paso, Texas, was a member of the El Paso Boys Choir as he was gifted with a beautiful tenor singing voice, graduated from Burgess High School and UTEP, joined the U.S. Marine Corps and in 1976 he became an El Paso Police Officer for ten years before relocating to Georgia. In Georgia, he worked for Judwin Properties, CWS Properties and Simpson Housing.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and memorial service begins at 7:00 pm at Marietta Funeral Home, 915 Piedmont Road, Marietta, Georgia 30066.
