Kayla Danielle Cox, age 28, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022. She was born on November 27, 1993 to Wanda Annette Ledford and Earnest Albert Cox Jr. She loved her children and was a free spirit who loved the outdoors, swimming in the creek and riding four wheelers.

Surviving other than her parents are her children, Amelia Annette Stephens, Zander Noah Stephens and William Avery Timms, all of Acworth; brothers, Jeffrey Scott Gayton of Acworth and Jesse Luke Cox of Dalton; sisters, Rochelle Cox and Debra Carol, both of Dalton; her Grandmother, Mary Helen Cox; nephews, Tristen Smith and Branden Hall; a niece, Summer Smith; aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Collins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 5PM Until 8PM at the funeral home. Collins Funeral Home in Acworth is in charge of arrangements.
