Karen A. Smith, 71, of Kennesaw, died Thursday, November 28, 2019.  A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 14 ^th in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Lollis and Pastor Austin Porter officiating.  Ms. Smith was born in Atlanta but had lived in the Acworth/Kennesaw area for the last 20 years.  Karen was a retired employee of AT&T and was actively involved in the Acworth Senior Center and Freedom Church in Acworth where she was a member.  Surviving are her children, Sarah (Corey) Bonner of Kennesaw and Chris Busha of Woodstock; grandchildren, Morgan and Cameron Busha of Woodstock and Jared, Edwin, and Lucrette Bonner of Kennesaw; sister, Liz Selecki of Acworth.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Freedom Church at www.freedomchurch.tv/giving/ .  The family will receive friends prior to the memorial service on Saturday from 2:00 until 3:00 at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
