Junior Ardell Kennedy, 78, of Acworth passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024.  Funeral Services will be 11:00am Tuesday February 13th in the Chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Abbott and Bro. Steve Nunley officiating.  The burial will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Kennedy was a hard worker, and he could fix anything.  He had several hobbies, such as spending time in the woods hunting and loved spending time on his tractor and could be found working long hours around his sawmill.  A member of the Masonic Lodge in Acworth.  Junior was known and will not be forgotten for helping people at the drop of a hat.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Mr. Kennedy was preceded in death by his parents, Laburn Ardell Kennedy and Mary Martha Lee Kennedy and his wife, Helen McEver Kennedy. He is survived by his sons, Corkey (Jeannine) Kennedy and Michael Kennedy; grandsons, Gabe Kennedy and Ross (Taylor) Kennedy; one brother and several sisters also survive.
