Johnny Dennis Drummond, 61, of Acworth, died Sunday, September 22, 2019.  A memorial service will be held at 5:00 Saturday afternoon, September 28 ^th in the clubhouse at the Villas of Lake Acworth.  Mr. Drummond was born in Atlanta and had lived in Acworth for the past 11 years.  He served his country in the US Marine Corps and was formerly employed as a HVAC technician.  He was a ham radio operator, a Harley Davidson and metal detector enthusiast, and a Civil War buff.  Surviving are his wife, Judy Drummond; daughters, Johnnita (Kevin) Mitchell and Jami Drummond and fiancé Darryl Tucker; grandchildren, Austin, Avery, Anna, and Ender; mother, Donna Drummond; siblings, Sherry (Garth) Haver, David (Sherri) Drummond, Tracy (Libby) Drummond, and Stephanie Benham; several nieces and nephews also survive.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
