John Peter Glonek's Obituary
John Peter Glonek, 62, of Marietta, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. A memorial service will be held at Marietta Funeral Home on Sunday, July 8 at 12:00pm.
John was born in IIlinois, but has called Pennsylvania and Georgia home as well. There was nothing he loved more than being with his girls. He was a machinist and CNC programmer for many years, even travelling to Japan at one point to share his expertise and to learn more about his craft. John could make anything with precision and style. He will be sorely missed by all, especially his co-workers at D&D Manufacturing. John also loved to travel, and enjoyed touring the USA, as well as Switzerland, Alaska and Hawaii.
John is survived by his wife, Claudia Glonek; daughters, Jennifer (Jovan) Rumford, Allison (Dana Jenny) Glonek; and step-daughter, Elena Roby.
The family will receive friends from 11:00am to 12:00pm on Sunday, July 8 at Marietta Funeral Home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Atlanta Humane Society. Online condolences may be expressed at www.mariettafuneralhome.org
