?Joanne T. Ransom , 86, of Acworth, died Wednesday, January 25, 2017.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 28 at 1:00PM in the chapel of Marietta Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Greers Chapel Cemetery.

Ms. Ransom was an Atlanta native and spent most of her life in Cobb County.  She got her RN degree from Kennesaw State in 1982 and worked as a nurse at Kennestone Hospital until 1999.  She was a member of Mt. Paran North and supported missionaries.

Survivors include her sons, Scott Trammell (Gena) of Acworth and Bruce Carl Trammell (Nancy) of Cumming; daughter, Rebecca Ann Gilley (Brian) of Marietta; 13 granchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
