Jimmy Lee
Chance
Sep 14, 1954 — Mar 1, 2021
Reverend Jimmy Lee Chance was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a man of God who was called to preach at the age of 13. He loved the Lord. He and his wife raised their children to also love the Lord and walk in the Christian faith. He was a light to those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Linda Chance, their four children and their spouses. Their daughters Katherine Mull and her husband John Mull, Amanda Meadows and her husband Brandon Meadows, Rachel Pass and her husband Cameron Pass, and his son Ethan Chance and his wife Reese Chance. He is also survived by his five grandsons: Matthew, Abram, Jace, Ja'Sean and Jah'mir. He was preceded in death by his parents Ben and Annie Chance and his grandson Adam Mull.
Jimmy loved to watch old westerns, sketch and play music. He was a wonderfully talented musician and singer. His love of music spanned across genres and time. He enjoyed spending time with loved ones; talking about good times both old and new. He had an amazing sense of humor that he shared with those around him. He was always quick witted and ready with humorous replies or anecdotes. Jimmy's love of music, his talent and humor will forever live on in his wife, children and grandchildren. The love that this man had for his family was strong and true. The love and adoration that his family holds for him is just as steadfast. His love and memory will be carried by those who loved him everlastingly.
