Jimmy S. Burrell's Obituary
Jimmy S. Burrell, 83, of Acworth, died Wednesday, October 18, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday at the graveside in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens with Chaplain Jud Henley officiating. Mr. Burrell was born in Calhoun and had lived in Acworth for 34 years. He retired from the Cobb County Water System as a plant operator and was a member of Sandy Plains Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Joan Burrell of Acworth; brothers, Eugene Burrell of Hendersonville, NC and David Burrell of Decatur, AL; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service on Friday from 10:30 until 11:30 AM at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
