Jessie Thompson Anderson's Obituary
Jessie Thompson Anderson, 88, of Kennesaw, died Wednesday, March 8, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Saturday afternoon in the Summit Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Slick officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Ridge Memorial Park. Mrs. Anderson will lie in state at the church on Saturday for one hour prior to the funeral service. A native of Bartow County, Mrs. Anderson had lived in Kennesaw for 63 years. She was a home maker and a member of Summit Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughters, Terri Anderson of Powell, TN and Linda (Mike) Davis of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Jennifer (Chuck) Copland of Woodstock and Ben (Emily) Davis of Hiram; 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Olson of Chattanooga and Sara Thompson of Acworth; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 on Friday evening at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
