Jesse David Ray, 75, of Rydal, died Sunday, September 12, 2021.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 Wednesday afternoon September 15 ^th in the New Covenant Church Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery.  Mr. Ray will lie in state prior to the funeral service at the church from 11:30 until 1:00.  He was born in Kennesaw and had lived in Georgia his entire life.  Mr. Ray was the Pastor of New Covenant Church and a carpenter by trade.  He also was an avid fisherman. Surviving are his 3 children and 5 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 on Tuesday evening at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
