Jerry V. Davis, 64, of Acworth, died Thursday, October 18, 2018.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Sunday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Josh James officiating.  Burial will follow in Mars Hill Cemetery.  Mr. Davis was born in Cartersville and had lived in Acworth all of his life.  He served his country in the US Army and was a member of Emerson Lodge #738 F&AM.  Jerry was of the Baptist Faith.  Surviving are his sons, Chad Davis, Luke Davis, Mac Davis, and Adam Davis, all of Acworth; brother, Jimmy Davis of Fairmount; 6 grandchildren and 3 nephews also survive.  The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service on Sunday from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
