Mrs. Jean Callaham Williams, age 86 of Kennesaw, GA died Sunday, February 28, 2021. Jean was born August 10, 1934 in Ft. Payne, AL to Talmadge "Pa Ted" and Lucille "Mama Cindy" Callaham. She married Robert F. "Bob" Williams on September 1, 1955 and he preceded her in death after 49 years of marriage, on December 6, 2004. Jean loved fashion and was always the "fashionista." She was employed at Burlington Coat Factory and later as the Boutique Manager at Steinmart, Inc. Jean and Bob also operated Salacoa Valley Christmas Tree Farm in Cherokee County for over 25 years and were active in the Square Dealers square dance club and were a long-time members of Marietta First Baptist Church. To know Jean was to know love and friendship. She was the consummate host, never leaving anyone, friends or family, with an empty heart or stomach! Jean loved her family and the Georgia Bulldogs, especially when that handsome Mark Richt was on the sideline! She walked by faith and not sight, mainly because she only had one good eye! Jean loved her Sunday School class, square dancing, playing bridge and all her co-workers at the "Stein", where she claimed, she was Employee of the Month, every month! Super Bowl parties and Saturday morning breakfasts at Bob and Jean's were epic! Jean was our guiding light when things were dark and was the heart of her family. Jean leaves a legacy of love and family that will continue for future generations. We love you Tupe!  She was also preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Melba Robinson and her brother, L.T. Callaham. Jean is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Teri and Steve Vermilya of Acworth, Carla and Steve Carmean of Kennesaw and Robin and Brian Pittman of Acworth. Grandchildren, Jennifer (Josh) Davis, Caleb (Misti) Carmean, Brooke (Cody) Culbert, Jacob (Heather) Carmean, Lucas (Samantha) Carmean, Ashley, Noah and Piper Pittman. Great-grandchildren, Landon, Reese and Grayson Davis; Rylan, Beck and Dolly Carmean and Charles "Charlie" Culbert: her siblings, Mac (Pat) Callaham, Frank (Gilda) Callaham, Bobby (Susan) Callaham, Judy (Glen) Patton and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 7, 2021 at 3 p.m. at the Marietta First Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Ross officiating. Jean will lie in state at 2 p.m. at the church. Entombment will follow at the Pine Ridge Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 6 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home in Acworth.
