Janice Annette Roach Brooks, 58, of Woodstock died on Sunday, November 27, 2016. Funeral Services will be Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 12noon in the chapel of Marietta Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Beers officiating. Interment will follow at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Brooks was a native of Marietta and graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1976. She went on to graduate from Kennesaw State College with an Associate's Degree in Nursing. She was employed with Wellstar Health System for 37 years as a Registered Nurse. During her years at Wellstar, she held many positions including charge nurse for the Emergency Room. She also held many managerial positions at Wellstar including her most recent position of Practice Manager for Wellstar Towne Lake Medical Center.

Survivors include her husband Joseph "Joe" Brooks; son, Jeremy Brooks (Ashley) of Canton; daughters, Jenni Whaley (Daniel) and Rachel Brooks, both of Canton and Reanna Pippin (Bryan) of Jonesboro; brother, Rev. Kenneth Roach (Susan) of Kennesaw; sister in law, Ann Roach of Acworth; and grandchildren, Rebecca, Carrigan, and Drew.
