Mrs. Janet Marie Stamas 89 of Ball Ground, GA died on Thursday, May 15, 2025. Janet's ministry was to serve children. As a former elementary school teacher, children were always her heart. She began crocheting blankets for Murphy Harpst Children's Center. Janet prayed over each blanket and said they were a hug from GOD. She made 299 blankets before GOD called her home. Janet is preceded in death by her huband, Anthony Stamas and her son, Gary Stamas. She is survived by her daughter, Darleen Prem and her husband Mike of Ball Ground, GA; son, Perry Stamas and his wife Desiree; grandson, Zakary Prem and his wife Darian; grandson, Gavin Stamas; great granddaughter, Rheya Prem. A service celebrating Janet's life will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 3455 Canton Road, Marietta, GA.
