James Edward Wilson, 70, of Ranger, died Tuesday, August 16, 2016.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Saturday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Kennesaw City Cemetery.  Mr. Wilson had lived in Acworth most of his life and retired from the Cobb County Water Authority.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles and dearly loved and is survived by his best friend Hagrid. Mr. Wilson was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  He is survived by his wife, Janet Wilson of Ranger; daughter, Melissa Kimberling of TN; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister Ann E. Smith of Marietta also survive.  The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 until 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00am until 2:00pm at Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
