James Michael "Mike" Sheffield's Obituary
James Michael "Mike" Sheffield, 59, of Rydal, died Sunday, July 9, 2017. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 Saturday afternoon, July 15th, in the Crossroads Baptist Church located at 78 Old Acworth Dallas Rd. Dallas, GA 30132. The Rev. Harold Turner and the Rev. Steven Sheffield, Jr. will officiate at the service. A former resident of Kennesaw, Mike had lived in Rydal for the last 30 years. He was a graduate of North Cobb High School, Class of 1975 and was retired from Lockheed Georgia as a machinist after 20 years of service. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Gail and Lamar Sheffield and is survived by his wife, Debbie Sheffield of Rydal; sisters, Christy (Randy) Tumlin of Acworth and Lynn (Beauford) Fulmer of South Carolina; brothers, Steve (Lesha) Sheffield, Sr. and Scott Sheffield, both of Acworth; several nieces and nephews also survive. Collins Funeral Home, Acworth, is in charge of arrangements.
