Mr. Jake "J.W." Crowder, age 77, of Dallas passed away Monday, February 20, 2023.

Mr. Crowder, who was affectionately known as "J.W.", was born on August 27, 1945 in Dallas, GA. He was the owner of Crowder Homes where he worked as a carpenter. He loved being outdoors, farming, and working with his hands. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Mae Crowder, his wife, Linda Jean Moss Crowder, and his brother and sister-in-law, James Douglas and Bea Crowder.

Survivors include his children, Jeff Agan (Jen) of Tampa, FL, Mary Linda Crowder of Dallas, Daphne Ann Moss of Bean Station, TN, Michelle Butler (Randy) of Carrollton, GA, Cindi Taylor (Eric) of Knoxville, TN, Jason Crowder of Hiram, and James Crowder of Hiram; sister, Brenda Fields of Dallas; fifteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 2:00pm from Peoples Baptist Church located at 201 Buchanan St, Dallas, GA 30132. Interment to follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Peoples Baptist Church located at 201 Buchanan St, Dallas, GA 30132 on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.

Flowers will be accepted at the church on Thursday.
