Obituary

Jacquelyn "Juanita" Blalock, born January 17, 1958, in Marietta, Georgia, entered into the
presence of her Lord and Savior on February 17, 2026 in Kennesaw, Georgia, passing
peacefully and surrounded by the love of her family. Though her earthly journey has ended, her
spirit rests in the eternal peace promised by God.
Juanita was welcomed into Heaven by her beloved husband, Raymond Blalock; her father,
William "Bill" Bingham; her mother, Lorene Anderson; her brother, Alan Bingham; and her
sisters, Gaye Blackstock and Linda Bingham. What a joyful reunion that must have been.
She leaves behind a legacy of love through her three children: Marilyn Trapp of Covington, GA;
Darren Blalock of Dallas, GA; and Crystal Wood of Kennesaw, GA. She was blessed with five
grandchildren—Brittany Mason, Maci Trapp, Emily Blalock, Anna Wood, and Gavin Wood—and
four great grandsons: Easton, Cooper, Sawyer, and Carson, each of whom brought her
immeasurable joy.
Juanita is also survived by her eight siblings: Beverly Bannister of Madison, GA; Johnny
Bingham of Acworth, Ga; Mae Santos (Edgar) of Palmetto, GA; Faye Rodriguez (Jorge) of
Woodstock, GA; Wayne Bingham of Roswell, GA; Karen Bulloch (Lori) of Jacksonville, FL;
Stephanie Greene (Steve) of Acworth, GA; and Jonathan Verner of Andersonville, GA.
Juanita's life was marked by compassion, quiet strength, and a deep faith that guided her
through every season. She loved her family fiercely, prayed faithfully, and carried a gentle spirit
that made others feel seen and cared for. Her presence was a blessing, and her memory will
continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
Though she will be deeply missed, her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace,
held safely in God's arms, and reunited with those who went before her. Her life was a
testament to love, endurance, and grace—and her legacy will live on through the generations
she leaves behind.
