Jack Walter Bennett, 76, of Acworth, died April 20, 2018.  A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm Monday, May 7, at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA. with military honors.

Jack graduated from Osborne High School.  He was a wallpaper craftsman and retired from Goodman Interiors.  His greatest joy in life was his family, he enjoyed fishing, wood working and NASCAR racing.  He was a member of Chattahoochee Baptist Church. He was also a US Navy Veteran having served active duty from November 1959 until November 1961.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Mabry Bennett and is survived by his daughter Ginger Leigh Bennett (Billy) Frees; 3 grandchildren; Zachary, Benjamin and Samuel; sister, Ruth Bennett Brown of Smyrna; several nieces and nephews.
