Herbert Sanford "Buster" Settle's Obituary
Herbert Sanford "Buster" Settle, 86, of Rydal, GA passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at 11am at Mars Hill Presbyterian Church in Acworth with Dr. Bryant Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Mars Hill Cemetery. Mr. Settle was a native of Page, West Virginia but lived most of his life in Cobb County, Ga. He was a member of Mars Hill Presbyterian Church. He worked in the construction industry for over 50 years and retired as a foreman for R&D Construction Co. Mr. Settle was a member of the Moose Lodge and was an avid hunter. He is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Lorine Robertson Settle. He is survived by daughters, Connie (Emery) Legrand of Adairsville and Debbie (Ronnie) Holtman of Rydal ; sisters, Kathrine Foster and Patsy Wadell both of W. VA; brothers, James Settle and Johnny Settle, both of W. VA.; grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris) McArthur, Jason (Audrey) Legrand, Amanda (Jason) Farmer and Brandi (Chad) Hayes; 8 great grandchildren also survives. The family will receive friends Monday from 5-8pm at Collins Funeral Home in Acworth. Contributions may be made to Mars Hill Presbyterian Church, 3385 Mars Hill Road, Acworth, GA 30101.
