Helen Marie Lance, 85, of Acworth, died Saturday, February 9, 2019.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 Thursday afternoon in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Lisa Crider officiating.  Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery.  Mrs. Lance was born in Canton and had lived in Acworth since 1963.  She retired as the manager of the lunchroom at North Cobb High School and was a member of County Line United Methodist Church.  Mrs. Lance was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Harold Clyde Lance and is survived by her son, Connie Clyde (Barbara) Lance of Canton; grandchildren, Lisa (Dustin) Crider and Leslie Lance, both of Canton; great grandchildren, Barrett Crider, Elijah Crider, McKenna Crider, and Adelaide Crider.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to County Line United Methodist Church 1183 County Line Rd.
