Helen Margaret Alexander Bell of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away May 14, 2018. Helen was born April 3, 1926, in Salida, CO. to James C. and Blanche Alexander and was raised in Trinidad, CO.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History with a minor in Music at the University of Colorado in Boulder where she met her late husband, William M. Bell. They were married 64 years.

Helen began her working career teaching in Denver, Co.  She raised her four children as the family made many career related moves. She was active in the Presbyterian Church all her life, where she shared her piano and organ playing.  She taught all of her children to play the piano.

Helen and William moved to Kennesaw from Metairie, LA in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina and were active members at Mars Hill Presbyterian Church in Acworth, GA.

Helen is survived by her four children: Anne L. Warnke (Kevin), Lake Forest IL;  Dean G. Bell (Leah), Kennesaw, GA;  Paul A. Bell (Carol), Fairhope AL; and David S. Bell (Ann), Black Mtn., NC.  She is survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at Mars Hill Presbyterian Church in Acworth, GA on Saturday, May 19th at 10am.
