Hazel Betty Honea, 90, of Acworth, died peacefully on Saturday, February 9, 2019.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Willis officiating.  Interment will follow the service at Mars Hill Cemetery.

Ms. Honea loved flowers, and playing BINGO, but she loved her family most of all.  She was a lifelong member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. Ms. Honea is preceded in death by her son, Lofton Honea.  She is survived by her daughter, Tami Chapman (Ronnie); grandchildren, Misty Chapman, Shane Honea, and Kerry Akers; daughter-in-law, Janet Honea; and 5 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Tuesday, February 12 at Collins Funeral Home, 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101.
