Harold William Painter, 79, of Marietta died Monday, March 14, 2016. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 11am at Marietta Funeral Home with Pastor Nate Nelson officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11am prior to the service. Inurnment will be Tuesday at 1pm at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton. He was a United States Air Force Veteran serving in Vietnam War. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Woodstock and the American Legion. Mr. Painter was preceded in death by his brother, Leroy Painter and his step daughter, Gail Speer. Survivors include his wife, Sue Torres-Painter; step daughters, Wanda Dunn of Woodstock and Elaine Sobieraj (David) of Marietta; Step Son, Cameron Faddis (Juliet) of Acworth; Grandchildren, Paul Dunn, Steve Speer, Ethan, Lindy and Emily.
