Gary Hamblin, 67, of Acworth, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022.  A memorial service will be held, 2:00pm Monday, May 2, 2022 in the Chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Woodruff officiating.  Burial will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.  Gary retired from R & M Grading & Hauling.  He loved NASCAR and fishing.  Gary was preceded in death by father, Bobby Hamblin of Jellico, TN, mother Merlyn Marlow Malicoat of LaFollette, TN and mother & father-in-law Mary & James Turner of Acworth. He is survived by his wife, Lori Hamblin of Acworth; daughter Savannah Hamblin of Acworth; brothers, Jeff Marlow of Kennesaw, Stan Marlow of Jellico, TN and Mike Malicoat of Clinton, TN; sister Lisa Fields of Ocala, FL.  The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00 prior to the service.  Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133.
