Gary Waldon Beaver, 83, of Acworth, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022.  Funeral services will be held, 11:00am Monday morning, September 19, 2022 in the Chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Minister Butch Jones officiating.  Burial will be 3:00pm in the VanZandt Cemetery in Blue Ridge GA.  Gary grew up in Ellijay and graduated from Gilmer County High School in 1957.  He loved working on and fixing clocks and he loved cars and animals.  Gary was a member of First Baptist Church of Acworth.  He was preceded in death by wife, Linda Parks Beaver.  Gary is survived by his son, Kevin (Amy) Beaver and daughter, Tina (Kelly) Thompson both of Acworth; grandchildren, Taylor (Jarrett) Thompson, Ansley Brackett, Sidney Thompson, Garrett Beaver and Mary Beaver; great grandchildren, Hayes Thompson and Emory Thompson; sisters Judy Gibbs of Johns Creek and Diane Call of Calhoun.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service Monday morning at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that contribution be made, in Gary's memory, to Agape Hospice Care Foundation, P. O.
