Gary Lee Beam's Obituary
Gary Lee Beam, 78, of Acworth, died Tuesday. There will be a visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 on Friday evening at Collins Funeral Home. A brief service will follow the visitation. A native of Louisville, KY, Mr. Beam had lived in Acworth for many years. He was the owner/operator of Beam's Upholstery in Acworth and was a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Billie Beam of Acworth; children, Donald (Tami) Beam of Acworth, Saundra Beam of Hiram and Sheila (Gary) Holt of Acworth; grandchildren, Christi Queen, Jessica Holt, Cynthia Hawkins, Kristen Holt, Amy Holt, Bradley Holt, Julia Viara, Victoria Viara, and Sarah Arrendale; siblings, Shirley Short, James Beam, Roy Beam, and Joann Horlander, all of Louisville, KY, and David Beam of Dallas; 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Norton Children's Hospital in Louisville, KY at
