Frances Willis, 88, of Acworth, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017.  Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 4:00 in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Donny Summey, the Rev. Bryan Cox, and the Rev. Danny Willis officiating.  Burial will follow in the New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.  Mrs. Willis was born in Atlanta and had lived in Acworth for most of her life.  She was a retired employee of Kennestone Hospital where she worked in the nursery.  She was also formerly employed at Allen's Five and Ten Cent Store in Acworth and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Emerson.  She was preceded in death by her sons, Kerry, Perry, and Jerry Willis and is survived by her husband, Rev. Harold Willis of Acworth; daughters, Paulette (Philip) Miller of Rydal and Elaine (Tommy) Anglin of Rydal; sons, Steve (Linda) Willis of Acworth and Bobby Willis of Fairmount; 22 grandchildren, a large number of great and great great grandchildren; sisters, Lillie Mae Addie of Henry County, Georgia and Jeanette Brown of Newnan; brother, Bobby Messer of Birmingham, AL; several nieces and nephews also survive.
