Frances Bearden, 84, of Kennesaw, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022.  Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Saturday afternoon in the Carmel Baptist Church with the Rev. Truman Pyles and the Rev. Jordan Runion officiating.  Ms. Bearden will lie in state at the church from 12:00-1:00.   Burial will follow in the Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.  Frances was a member of Carmel Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Bearden; parents, Ralph T. and Veneda Tipton McPherson; brother, Ralph McPherson; sisters, Rosa Lee Burch, Clyde Blalock, Mary Lou Jones and Peggy Mullins.  Frances is survived by her son, Mike Bearden; grandson, Alex Bearden; sisters, Sara Turner and Martha Bryant; twin brother, Franklin McPherson.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.  Collins Funeral Home 4947 North Main St. Acworth, GA 30101 770-974-3133 in charge of the arrangements.
