F. J. Garrett, 76, of Marietta, Ga.  Released his borrowed Spirit to his Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ on 2.23.2019.  He was born in Westminster, Ca. in 1942 to Roberta and F. J. Garrett Sr., and was the second child of nine.  He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and stationed in Fort Benning, Ga. Upon his return to civilian life, he was an Architect/Designer that contributed to aerospace, industrial, distribution, education and residential building of all shapes and sizes.

He was preceded in death by his wife Kitty who passed in 1981. Joe remains in loving memory by his life partner Ellen, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and wonderful friends. The family sincerely extends their appreciation to his caregivers for their acts of kindness, mercy, grace and dignity during his last days.  A Celebration of Life Event for family and friends will take place at Cherokee Cattleman Co. located at 2710 Canton Rd.
