Erik Lester Rosengren, 70, of Marietta, died Saturday, December 31, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm on Tuesday , January 3 at Marietta Funeral Home.

Mr. Rosengren is survived by his wife, Mary Rosengren; sons, Erik Joseph Rosengren Sr. (Deana) and Kenneth Michael Rosengren (Susan); daughter, Barbarann Conte (Mike); grandchildren, Erik Joseph Rosengren Jr. (Autum), Bobby Butterfield, Nicholas Conte, Tiffany Lingerfelt, Isabell Carter, Lauren Conte, Tyler Robinson and Emily Rosengren; as well as 6 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Rosengren was a wonderful son, husband and father. He was an only child who honored his parents. He was a husband who married his childhood sweetheart and after 50 years of marriage still looked at her with that teen boy love still in his eyes. He was a father who loved his twin boys and adored his baby girl. He was a grandfather who couldn't be prouder of watching them grow into who they are and what they will become.
