Emily Faye Beer, 76, of Kennesaw, GA passed away on September 1, 2025 at her residence while surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on March 13, 1949 in Pontiac, IL to Melvin Schumacher and Bessie (Anlicker) Schumacher. She married Benjamin John Beer on May 7, 1966 in Eureka, IL. Emily leaves behind a daughter, Jennifer (Greg) Matta; 3 grandchildren, Sarah (Dimitri) Matta, Michael (Elisabeth) Matta and Savannah Beer; 1 brother, Melvin Schumacher, JR and 2 sisters; Dolores Schumacher Mosshart and Dixie Schumacher Vogel. She was preceded in death by her husband,  Benjamin Beer and son, James Beer; 3 brothers, Richard Schumacher, Jim Schumacher and Robert Schumacher; 3 sisters, Harriet Pisel, Patricia Fuller and Betty Cruickshank. Cremation rites have been accorded. Per Emily's wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to National Cancer Society or National Kidney Foundation.
