Ava Eloise Owens Larmore completed her life's journey on Monday, September 2, 2018 at the age of 92.

A celebration of the life of this vibrant, strong, beautiful woman will be held at the Marietta Funeral Home in Marietta, GA beginning with a viewing from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 5th with the Celebration of Life following at 2:00 PM.  Interment will take place at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 6th at the Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, GA.

Eloise Larmore was born on September 5, 1925 to Annie Belle and Walter Owens of Fitzgerald, GA.  She became a registered nurse after completing her training at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, GA.  She always said that she wanted to work two years and then get married.  On December 11, 1948 she married the love of her life, William Larmore and spent 67 happy years with him.  After they married, she worked six more years before starting a family.  Eloise is survived by her four children, Cathryn Reynolds, Wendy Baumgarten, Ray Larmore, Jennifer Larmore, (3) grandchildren, (11) great grandchildren and many children of her heart.

Eloise loved dancing, music, sewing, quilting and being a wonderful listening ear to family and friends.  She had a deep and abiding faith and a true love for missions.  Her home was always open just like her heart and people knew they could always count on her for anything.  Eloise Larmore lived her life with joy, laughter and happiness.
