Ellen Teems Mayerchak , age 70, of Marietta, passed away on Sunday,October 30, 2016.  She was born January 13, 1946 to the late Charley and Sallie Cook.  Ellen retired from her job as a bookkeeper with the Marietta City School System.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Ellen is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Teems, daughter, Deanna Ochsenknecht, son, Darryl Teems, sisters Betty Ruth Griffin, Martha Covington, Kathleen Martin, Jeanette Cook and brother, Randall Cook.  Ellen is survived by her grandson, Justin Teems, brother, Donald "Bud" Cook, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2016 , at 2:00PM in the chapel of Marietta Funeral Home with Rev. Rubin Smith officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 1, 2016 , at the Marietta Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00PM and on Wednesday from 9:00AM until the hour of the service. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia.
