Ella May Blalock, 88, of Kennesaw passed away August 15, 2022.  She was born in Cartersville but was raised in Acworth.  Ella was a lifelong member of Acworth Church of God.  She worked as a seamstress at Marietta Hosiery and Shepards Drapery.  Ella enjoyed her little flower garden and playing scratch off lottery tickets.  She was preceded in death by children, David Keith Blalock, Tommy Eugene Blalock and Raymond Lee Blalock.  Survivors include, son, Lloyd Dempsey Blalock; sisters, Shirley Coker, Betty Shelly, Annette Dempsey and Lena Blalock.  11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive.  She will be missed by many.  Services will be held 5:00pm Sunday September 11, 2022 in the Acworth Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor John Benning officiating.  Committal will follow at 5:45pm in Liberty Hill Cemetery.
