Edmond Levorisia Underwood, 95, of Marietta, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018.  A graveside service will be held at Greers Chapel Cemetery on Monday, March 19 at 1:00pm.

Mr. Underwood lived an amazing life of 95 years. From a poor childhood in Kennesaw, to his schooling at Berry Academy in Rome, to his service in WWII, to his role as husband, father, and grandfather, to marking his 70th wedding anniversary back in January. He loved Jesus and ministered to people from here in Marietta all the way to the continent of Africa. Now he's home with the Heavenly Father he loved so much. He will be missed greatly by family and friends.

Mr. Underwood is survived by his wife, Sarah Underwood, of Marietta; sons, Joseph Wayne Underwood (Lynn), of Powder Springs, and John B Underwood (Mitzi), of Marietta; and grandchildren, Noah Underwood, and Rachael Underwood.  He is preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Edmond Underwood; and his 7 sisters.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 18 at Marietta Funeral Home from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be made to Greers Chapel Cemetery Fund, 1848 Greers Chapel Rd.
