Earnestine Bassett, age 82, passed away on December 11, 2021.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. William "Bill" Kellerman.  Burial will follow at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ms. Bassett was very funny and loved to laugh.  She was a true country girl and loved her animals and plants.  She was also very talented at coloring, crocheting and enjoyed watching baseball.  Anyone who loved her would tell you that she was a stubborn as they come.  She will be greatly missed by her loving family.

Ms. Bassett is survived by her daughters, Gail (Neil) Conner, of Jackson, GA, and Effie Kay (Tony) Taylor, of Canton, GA; sons, Ernest Croft, of Jackson, GA, and Shane (Natalie) Croft, of Hull, GA; sister, Ruby Jean Haney, of White, GA, and Sara (Hershel) Blalock, of Acworth, GA; as well as many grandchildren and great-granchildren.
