Obituary

Dylan Joseph Sce passed away on October 10, 2019, just a month shy of his 11th birthday. He was born on November 9, 2008, alongside his twin brother, Conner.

Dylan was a wonderful little boy who lived a life full of love, laughter, and joy. He loved to swim, horseback ride, and watch videos on his iPad. His laugh was the BEST and brought a smile to anyone who heard it. He had a love for adventures and even though he couldn't always participate physically, he often watched them on his beloved YouTube. His favorite activities were roller coasters, bus rides, and snow skiing. In 2018, his dreams came true when he was able to ski for the first time on a family trip to Montana.

Dylan was an early riser and expected everyone else in the house to be up and together when he was ready to get up. And, he knew exactly how to get what he wanted! He loved to listen to all kinds of music, even in Spanish. His favorite characters were Buzz Lightyear and Woody from Toy Story.

Dylan is survived by his parents Kris and Joe, his brother Conner, his grandparents Sherry Cunningham (ReRe), Nick Cox (Papa), Joe and Pam Sce (Pop Pop & Grammy), great grandfather Olan Cunningham (Papa C), aunts Adrian Dickerson (Eric) and Jenny Saylors (Jeff), Cousins Ella and Cash Dickerson and Sydney, Dakota, and Riley Saylors, a host of great aunts, great uncles, and cousins, and his beloved dogs, Berkley and Charlie Fenway. He was preceeded in death by his great-grandparents Flo Cunningham, CJ and Marilyn Cox, Mary and Sal Sce, and Lois and Peter Simmons.

In his 10 short years, Dylan brought inspiration to so many. His life was not easy, as he endured many surgeries and hours of therapy. But, through the help of his parents, brother and extended family, he truly lived life to the fullest. Some of his biggest cheerleaders were called "Dylan's Heroes," who are friends and supporters from all over the country. In leaving us so soon, only God knows what Dylan might have accomplished. He touched so many people and will be sorely missed.
