Dwayne Stone, 82, of Acworth, GA, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021.  A graveside service will be held at Liberty Hill Cemetery on Friday, August 27 at 3:00pm.  Born November 20, 1938, Mr. Stone was a lifelong Georgia resident.  He served his country in the US Army and retired from Atlantic Steel.  He enjoyed his family, sports (Georgia Tech especially!), and reading biographies.  He is survived by his wife, Nancy Carol Stone; son, Christopher Dwayne Stone; sister-in-law, Peggy Simpson; and several nieces and nephews.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.collinsfuneralhome.org .
